Iron Maiden to headline the Arras Main Square Festival

Heavy metal legends, Iron Maiden will be headlining the opening night of the Arras Main Square Festival in France on 3rd of July 2014. The festival will take place at the Citadel of Arras, Boulevard du General de Gaulle from 3rd of July to 6th. The festival includes more artists from pop and rock scene and by posting time, Iron Maiden was the only metal band that was included on the line-up.

The said gig in Arras Main festival will be part of the band’s 2014 tour including the dates that are announced as of posting time:

Leaves’ Eyes announced North American tourdates

Symphonic metal band, Leaves’ Eyes announced on their Facebook page that they’ll be touring again in North America next year! Together Atrocity, the band will kick off their North American tour in 31st of January at Florida, in support of Moonspell‘s “American Noir Tour”. The band will present their new masterpiece “Symphonies of the Night” which hits the stores just this November!

Sonata Arctica announced new tour dates

Finnish Power metallers, Sonata Arctica recently posted new tour dates all over Europe in April 2014, from their official website. The band is currently working with their upcoming album which sets to be release in March 2014.

Keyboard player, Henkka left some message: “Hello out there. It’s been a while since we last toured Europe, so I’m very happy that we can announce our first tour with our new album. Since the album will be out in March 2014, we don’t want to waste any time but will head out for a full European Tour. Our tour will start in Eindhoven, NL on April 10th, 2014. The whole band is really looking forward to play some new songs for you and introduce our new bass player, Pasi, for all our fans. He’s a monster live, you’ll see. ReVamp shortened their Dutch Tour for 2014

One of the most kick-ass bands from Holland, ReVamp recently announced that they are forced to shorten their Dutch Tour in the first 2 months next year. The band posted on their Facebook page, that the reason is due to the band members’ conflict schedules or as they said “because the time doesn’t allow us to do all January/February shows”.

They also announced that the fans who already bought the tickets from the cancelled dates could be traded to one of the pursued shows next year! Here are the shows that will still be pursued and below it, are the cancelled dates.

18-01 – Metropool, Hengelo
07-02 – Romein, Leeuwarden

Christmas Metal Symphony tours the Europe this year

Magnum Opum Rockestra (under conductor Marcel Heijnen), a 32-strong orchestra accompanied by the METALFORCE 1 rock band and led by singers/vocalists which influenced the metal scene in recent years and decades, are set to embark on the “Christmas Metal Symphony European tour”.
