A Fine Night of Revisiting Café de Lipa

Revisiting Café de Lipa in Market! Market! after almost a year. I used to go here to get my morning coffee when I’m still working around the area.

That night, I bought a Tall Iced Chocolate Cream Frappe and a Dulce De Leche bar. Too bad, the only cheesecake they had was the blueberry ones (but I preferred plain nowadays).

The cafe was neat and cute, but they don’t have a bathroom. The servers/baristas were both attentive and polite with their customers. Not to mention they’re both beautiful. 🙂

The Dulce De Leche bar was fairly great; although it was too sweet and quite tough, I really like it. The drink on the other hand, tastes like Emperador at first sip. Wow alcoholic chocolate cream frappe, anyone!? I thought it was just the first taste but the more I sip it, the more it tastes like brandy. Nyay!

So I mixed it well and sooner it tastes better. Maybe the chocolate they used was too strong, that’s why it tasted like brandy?

Dessert Time at DQ!

Got a Dairy Queen Sandwich as a dessert after eating dinner. For 39,00 pesos, you’ll surely enjoy a big bite of Vanilla ice cream nested between 2 yummy chocolate wafers!

Kore wa “Mochi Creme” desu.

Kombanwa! After visiting my sick friend at UERMMMC, i decided to stop by at SM Sta. Mesa for a few minutes of walk as well as to revisit this place.

I’ve seen a lot of new stalls and stuff around including this one, the Mochi Creme. Since I’m quite hungry, I tried one of their offerings which are the “mochis”. I got the “Green tea matcha”. I instantly like it at the first bite up to the very last piece of it. Definitely worth the price!

Sweet moments at La Crêperie

I’m a fanboy of crepes! The first time I got to try crepe was years ago at Crepes & Cream. Too bad, the store IMO is closing down nowadays as I never even saw them anywhere around. Good thing, we have La Creperie!!!

I’m done with my lunch time that moment and I was badly craving for dessert. Good thing, the looloo app is there to give me a helping hand to find the best places around the corner. I found out about this and never wasted any second when I learnt that they’re serving crepes!

I ordered the Mango Hazelnut au Chocolat, and wow, this is soooo freakin good!!!! I just loved that every single detail of this dish is present not just by the eyes but you can actually taste them. The chocolate crepe itself is great; the fresh mangoes were not too sour, just right; the caramel and hazelnut spread were all over the dish; and of course almonds and whipped cream on top of it, what can I ask for?

Recommended to all sweet lovers and crepe lovers out there! 🙂

Banapple’s Banoffee Pie

Who says only cakes have the right to become a “birthday cake”? Baby Zeke just turned 1 this past weekend; and of course, a party won’t be great without FOOD!

One of the highlights is our celebrant’s birthday cake, oh or rather, birthday pie. The pie itself is sooo delish. So rich and so sweet that I can’t even finish a slice of it. But still, great and not bad for 720 pesos for a whole pie.
